Life by Bike
We believe bicycling is a healthy, affordable, and environmentally friendly form of transportation and recreation that should be safe and attractive to everyone who wants to ride, wherever their destination and whatever their purpose. Bicycling is good for our communities and for the people who ride, and so we work to increase the number of people who ride bikes as a regular part of their lives.

Since May is Bike Month, we are working with the Office of Traffic Safety (OTS) to spread awareness about important bike laws, bike infrastructure and bike safety tips to get you ready and informed to take on the road.
Today, we are talking about AB413, an assembly bill that took effect in January 2024 which creates intersection “daylighting.”
What do you think about daylighting? Have you noticed a change in your own neighborhood?
As a reminder, we are trying to raise $10,000 dollars this month for Bike Month! With your help, we can continue to raise awareness about bike issues. Click the link in to donate: https://sdbikecoalition.org/2024-bike-month-fundra…
